Oklahoma Update
For this week our legislators are in budget appropriations which means bills are waiting on next steps. This is the normal cadence of our state legislative seasons, and so we wait. However we have had great progress, momentum, and support thus far.
National Update
Last week there was exciting news from NRA-ILA on halting the implementation of the pistol-brace rule. The NRA filed suit against the ATF in a Texas court, showing that the necessary time and feedback by the NRA and gun owners was not given by the ATF, feedback that may have killed off the rule in the first place. Other News
The ORA welcomes our Youth Directors and is excited to announce that we will be working with the Oklahoma City Gun Club on an exciting event! Youth will be able to learn gun safety and try out the following disciplines: air rifle, .22 rifle, and shotgun. Be sure to mark June 15th on your calendars and tell friends and family!
