The good news is that all our bills are moving forward and making progress through the Senate!

The great news is that HB3427 by Representative Archer and Senator Dossett came out of the finance committee on Monday, 10-0. It will now head to the Senate floor for a vote sometime before the April 25th deadline.

Today HB4120 by Representative Harden and Senator Weaver passed through public safety, 9-0!

HB3427 encourages and incentivizes individuals to store their firearms in a secure manner to prevent access to children, unauthorized persons, and to deter theft. This is a common sense measure that helps keep our communities safe.

HB4120 strengthens and streamlines the authority of retired peace officers to carry a firearm.
