The Oklahoma Lawmaking Process
With the 2025 legislative session underway, we wanted to give a quick refresher on civic involvement in the state lawmaking process.
Right now the ORA is watching and working with lawmakers on different bills that are being reviewed in different committees. The process can take much of the legislative session. At different points in the process, there are appropriate steps any concerned citizen can take in addition to the work advocacy groups, like the ORA already have in place on your behalf.
