It has been another great week in forward momentum for Oklahoma’s gun owners with the announcement of an ammo manufacturer moving to Oklahoma a bill signed and another bill on its way to the Govenor’s desk. 

HB 1095 Passed

HB 1095 allows the government of a municipality to allow the concealed carry of firearms in a building or office space that is owned or leased by a city or town. This is yet more legislation increasing recognition of Oklahoma gun owner’s Second Amendment rights.

HB 2818 now Law

This is very exciting, HB 2818 expands self defense rights from house to property line. This was just signed by the Governor, now making it Oklahoma law. 

CBC Ammunition to build Facility in Pryor

This is great news for Oklahoma gun owners and Oklahoma economy with firearm manufacturers committing to Oklahoma as a place for business and jobs. Also with more ammo manufacturers, we can certainly hope that it will make our favorite disciplines more affordable to shoot. Read more here!

Daisy National Matches!

We’ll be sharing more in the days ahead, but last year ORA President, Mark Vaughan, visited the Daisy National Matches and will be attending again this year! Because Rogers, AR is a relativelly short drive for those of us in Oklahoma, the ORA wants to share more about this exciting opportunity for our clubs to for teams for any interested youth across the state.  Stay tuned for more details!

NRA YHEC needs volunteers to help build the next generation of young hunters. NRA National High Power Mid-Range Championship in OKC

This year the NRA is taking the National Championships to clubs across the nation! Oklahoma City Gun Club was one of the selected clubs and will be hosting the Midrange Highpower Match on June 4-8.
