HB3427
This week we are excited to announce that Representative Archer’s Gun Safe bill, HB3427, passed with a house vote of 85 to 10! HB3427 encourages and incentivizes individuals to store their firearms in a secure manner to prevent access to children, unauthorized persons, and to deter theft. This is a common sense measure that helps keep our communities safe.
HB4120
Representative Hardin’s bill, HB4120 passed with a house vote of 87-2. This bill strengthens and streamlines the authority of retired peace officers to carry a firearm.

Representative Kevin West’s house joint resolution also passed out of the House which strengthens the Second Amendment language in the State Constitution.
The Oklahoma Rifle Association continues to advocate for Oklahoma’s gun owners daily at the capitol.
