In addition to our ORA President, Mark Vaughan, serving as the 2nd VP of the NRA, the ORA has quite a few other NRA board members within our membership. We wanted to give our membership a chance to get to know them beyond their NRA board nomination bio— usually a long list of accomplishments because of the sheer talent found on the NRA board.
However, when it comes time to vote, NRA Life members or those who have been NRA members for 5+ consecutive years have a long list to choose from and that bio seems all too short in knowing who the nominees truly are. As the outreach team has gotten to know some of these directors, you’ll find they are just like us, involved in their local clubs, community, and all passionate about preserving our civil rights.
